This poster project is inspired by my personal experience as an international student navigating the local workplace. Despite having kind colleagues, cultural and language barriers make it difficult to truly integrate. As a keen observer, I easily pick up on subtle biases or feelings of exclusion, often leading to self-doubt. Through this project, I hope to resonate with other international students facing similar struggles. Not fitting in is not a personal failure, and we shouldn’t blame ourselves for circumstances beyond our control. Even as outsiders, we can embrace our uniqueness and define our own value. I chose a satirical and humorous approach to convey this message, using irony to spark reflection while making the issue more approachable.
