CODE (Centre of Digital Ecosystems) is a new research centre, launched by RMIT University in 2024. Though CODE operates as a centre for handling complex data simulations and employing technologies like VR and AR, many past projects it's worked on are intimately linked with gaming. Therefore, I want to depict the identity mark of CODE in an interesting and gaming way. Meanwhile, without compromising a hint of professionalism and formality. CODE finds inspiration from natural, societal, institutional ecosystems. There are many projects that echo nature, like digital twin forests in Victoria, Vertual Macquarie Island V.2.0, etc. Other projects are people-centric, like small games for patients in hospital beds to alleviate stress. Therefore, the identity mark I crafted for CODE aims to mirror the interplay of nature, humans, digital, and games.
