This project focuses on enteromorpha, the cause of green tides. My hometown, Qingdao, has been affected by green tides for 17 years. Through visual design, I aim to raise awareness of this ecological crisis. I collected enteromorpha from the shore and conducted visual experiments by arranging it into different shapes. After exploring various forms, I finalized the project with typography and poster design, translating the presence of enteromorpha into a visual language.

SHAPING LETTERS
FROM ENTEROMORPHA
FROM ENTEROMORPHA
I used enteromorpha to create an experimental font, shaping it into letters in a simulated marine environment. After photographing and refining the forms, I applied a grid system for structure. The font’s round shape reflects enteromorpha accumulation,

SCENTED REMERBRANCE
OF THE GREEN TIDE
OF THE GREEN TIDE
I created aromatherapy candles infused with enteromorpha to evoke the scent of green tide, immersing people in a seaside atmosphere. The strong smell triggers the Proustian Effect, directly connecting to memory and emotion, making the
environmental impact of green tide more tangible.

THE GREEN TIDE
I applied the experimental enteromorpha font to the poster, amplifying the "green" letter to symbolize the proliferation of enteromorpha. The blue background with the land outline on the left illustrates the invasion of the coastline,
